MEETINGS & EVENTS

Business Meeting:

Third Tuesday of every month at the ETSU Science building (Brown Hall) Room 312 on State of Franklin Rd., Johnson City

Meetings start at 6:30 P.M.

Some members get together for dinner before the meeting at about at about 5:00 P.M.
Currently we will be eating at the cafeteria on the ETSU campus, "The Market Place" on the 3rd floor, west end of the Culp Student University Center.


Work Night:

Thursday Evenings starting at 5 P.M. We still have lots of work to do. Come out and join the fun.

Running Sessions:

Saturday 10 AM to 3 PM The Mountain Empire Model Railroader's display in the George L. Carter Railroad Museum is now open to the public. Please make it a priority to volunteer at least one full day or two half days each month so that we have adequate staffing to operate the museum.

2nd Annual Modeling Contest

.......The Mountain Empire Model Railroaders (MEMRR), in conjunction with the George L. Carter Railroad Museum on the East Tennessee State University campus, are presenting their second annual model railroad modeling contest. The overall theme of the contest will be a themed Diorama. For additional information contact Hobie Hyder, Model Contest Director, at juliehobie@earthlink.net. Contest Rules will be found on pages 3 & 4 of the April Signal Bridge.
